1.Needs Statment
Before defining the needs statement, let’s have one look at the user persona, Lionel, a professional architect, who always cares about his clients in his work. For example, he built houses based on lifestyle and esthetical meaning instead of focusing on money. Secondly, to create a strong bond with the client, he preferred to give personalized gifts which are again based on Lifestyle choice and not to pay off for being hired by the client. And here he is looking for everything under the roof because is not a shopaholic person, neither does he want to spend a lot of time in search of gifts that are also affordable for him. That’s why instead of going shopping, getting confused between products, and wasting time and resources, he preferred a better, innovative digital interface.
Although user and user persona are two different things, hereafter looking at Lionel user persona; it is quite noticeable that user persona is a cluster of people with the behavior for which the need statement can be defined as below.
After analyzing a user persona, the needs statement over here is;
“Lionel, an architect, needs a way to buy fair prices personalized presents without visiting a shop so that he can save time and money and importantly, make a strong connection with his client.”

3.Chosen Idea
- Ask Santa !

4.A communication Stratergy
The idea of Ask Santa is an artificial intelligence-based web application that asks the user to enter basic details about gift reciever such as their interest like food books music coffee or anything they like and they don’t have at the current moment or if the user doesn’t know much about the reciever than the age of the reciever, gender, and other details from which application will evaluate the algorithm which gives the best possible present ideas to the user which are affordable and up to date with trends.
For example, if Lionel doesn’t know much about his client then instead of getting confused about the present, he can simply use the app which will help him to find a great gift to give based on his client’s basic information.
Perry Camelin
Hey, honestly your site is coming along :-), but I had a question – it’s a bit slow. Have you thought about using a different host like propel? It’d help your visitors stick around longer = more profit long term anyway. There’s a decent review on it by this guy who uses gtmetrix to test different hosting providers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6s0ciJI4W4 and the whole video has a bunch of gold in it, worth checking out.

I’m not really interested in getting paid host. Thank you though, for sharing the information.
Cheers.
